Johannes Kepler

Johannes Kepler (27 December 1571- November 16, 1630) ,a great astronomer who gave us the perfect shape in which earth revolves around the sun.

He is a very successful astronomer and when I read his history ,I was astonished. He lost his eyesight when he was a child because of smallpox, limiting his ability in observational aspects of astronomy.Still he gave us such a huge fact which added certification to Newton's Theory.
I wonder that how can a person be so dedicated and hard-working . Mainly people not having eyesight looses their hopes but Kepler didn't loose his.His lack of eyesight didn't come in way of his love for astronomy.
His love for astronomy is beyond explanation and I know that I will never be able to dwell that love for astronomy though I also second him.
I salute his love and dedication ...........and WISH HIM A VERY VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY:)

Yesterday I was reading about Copernicus works when I came to know that his philosophies were not very much liked by the people at that time and he had only one follower, Giordano Bruno. I read a line after which I was in my own surprised thoughts.
A luckless follower ,BRUNO WAS BURNED AT THE STAKE .
When I heard this I was surprised .
I was thinking that why a person every time criticizes other one following some different ideas or believes and who has given them the right to point out a person and why they cant express their views?
Copernicus facts were correctly described but still no body followed them because Ptolemy's views were more fascinating to them and were philosiphied before Copernicus.And rather he corrected Ptolemy
's facts.
He was the only to finger out the correct person but was put down by the people around .

Is it important to follow what others follows ?Can't one be right ....
I have concluded from this that not every time it is important that majority is right and in front of majority ,an aloof person with true views is very puny.
